In lieu of traditional dues our members determine their own financial commitment to the synagogue guided by the levels presented here. Our goal is to be an inclusive and welcoming congregation, while meeting Temple Shalom’s financial obligations.

General Support / Endowment
Support the ongoing operations, programs, and maintenance of Temple Shalom. Contributions provide vital resources that help preserve our community, safeguard our traditions, and ensure the temple’s enduring presence for generations to come, enriching the lives of all who call it home.
Learning & Engagement
Empower our educators to expand and enrich programs for children in grades K-12. Support both the development of innovative educational programs and necessary capital improvements, allowing our educators the flexibility to foster impactful learning experiences and provide an enriching environment for our youth.
Spiritual Experience
Honor the memory of loved ones while supporting the ongoing needs of Temple Shalom. This opportunity provides a meaningful way for congregants to observe yahrzeit (the anniversary of a loved one’s passing) and other moments of remembrance. It also helps meet various charitable and community needs, as directed by Temple Shalom’s clergy and supports the work of the Caring Community Committee to help our members during difficult times and be there to celebrate joyous occasions together.
Environment
Help maintain and enhance our sacred space. Contributions cover essential building maintenance, security upgrades, beautification efforts, and ensure that Temple Shalom remains a welcoming venue for the community. Your support creates a safe, beautiful, and inviting environment where connections can be strengthened and memories made.
Social Justice
Support the social action initiatives of the Temple’s Social Action Committee, as well as contributions to charitable organizations and community groups working to promote social justice. Your generosity also helps sustain the TSARP program, which provides housing and essential services to Afghan refugees, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and care.
