Music at Temple Shalom

Music is at the heart of congregational life at Temple Shalom.  It imbues each moment with meaning, enhances our joy in moments of celebration and soothes our hearts in times of sorrow.

Musical Leadership

Cantor Jen Keren leads our community in song and prayer.
She finds joy in lifting up the congregation's voice together in song.

Friday Evening Service

Join us in person or via live stream as we welcome Shabbat into our lives each week.  We join together in song each week with the voices of our clergy and the joyful sound of instruments.  Click here to learn more about our Shabbat services.

Shabbat B'Yachad

Shabbat B'Yachad is a monthly, intergenerational community celebration of Shabbat including: Tot Shabbat (5:30pm), Family dinner (6:00pm), Shabbat service with Shabbat B'Yachad band (6:30pm), and adult dinner and programming (7:30pm).  Click here to learn more about Shabbat B'Yachad.

Shabbat Zimra

Shabbat Zimra is an opportunity to raise our voices in song together to welcome Shabbat.  This is a musical, meditative service featuring the voices of Shir Shalom, the community chorus of Temple Shalom.   Join us for this opportunity to sing freely, breathe deeply, and to join in community after a busy week.  Our next Shabbat Zimra will be held on Friday, December 13th.
