Wednesdays 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, and 11/8 at 12pm

This course will explore Judaism's rich history of oral law as well as the construction and page layout of the Talmud, Judaism's great book of law, ethics and theology. We'll learn from some of the Talmud's most famous stories, discover a few of the key personalities found on its pages and begin to unravel the logic of Jewish law and stories. Everyone is welcome. Beginners and those with a beginner's mind are especially encouraged to join!
