Supporting One Another

During this unsettling time, we will keep our  Temple Shalom community strong. We will respond to this adversity by taking care of one another and making sure we stay connected in every way possible. If you need support during this difficult time or would like to volunteer to help those in need in our community, please complete the forms below.

Shabbat Services
Friday Evening Services and Saturday Morning Minyan and Torah Study will held virtually online via live stream and Zoom.

Education Programs
Temple Shalom Nursery School will be closed until further notice. All in-person education programs are canceled until further notice.

Small Group Hebrew and B’nai Mitzvah tutoring are continuing virtually. Contact your teacher with any questions.

Our Education Team is offering opportunities throughout the week for children, youth, and families to stay connected to one another, continue to explore Jewish ideas, and have fun.

Pastoral Care

Temple volunteers are beginning to reach out to our seniors and anyone else we suspect may be confined to their home. It may take a few days for us to reach everyone and we appreciate your patience with this process.

If you are aware of someone in need of pastoral support, please email Loretta Zack, the Temple’s clergy assistant.

If this crisis means you are in need of additional financial or other tangible supports, do not hesitate to reach out to our clergy. There are organizations both Jewish and communal that are gearing up to help.
