Shabbat Service Schedule

Shabbat Eve Service: The second, fourth and fifth Friday nights of the month at 8pm.  A contemporary reform service, led by our Clergy, from the new Reform Prayer Book, Mishkan T'filah.  A variety of music, highlighting the broad range of the Reform repertoire, is led by our Cantor and accompanied by our Music Director, Professional Quartet, and often our volunteer Choir, Shir Shalom.   Sermons are offered by our Rabbis and occasional Guest Speakers.

Family Shabbat Services: The first Friday of the month at 6:30pm, from October through May.  These services are designed for families with children in Grades 3 through 6 and involve age-appropriate stories, participation from our Junior Choir and birthday blessings.

Kabbalat Shabbat Services: The first Friday of the month at 6:30pm in the Rothman Chapel. This service provides a adult-oriented worship n a quiet more intimate setting.

Primary Grade Kabbalat Shabbat Services: An age-appropriate service for  families with children in grades Kindergarten through second grade at 6:30pm.   This service is followed by a family Shabbat dinner (reservations required) with time for adults to socialize while the children are engaged in an after dinner activity with our Educator.  This service is 3 times a year, please check the Temple calendar for dates.

Shabbat Halleilu: The third Friday of the month at 6:30pm, our spirited, mostly musical service featuring our Shabbat Halleilu Band - appropriate for all ages.

Minyan and Torah Study: Every Saturday at 9:00am in the Rothman Chapel, lay-led service followed by study and food.

Shabbat Morning Services: Saturday mornings at 10:45am in the Sanctuary featuring a Torah Service led by our B'nai Mitzvah students.  Please check our calendar for details.

Tot Shabbat Services: Generally the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00am for infants through pre-kindergarten children and their families.  This interactive service includes movement, music, Torah stories and a visit by our puppet Oof-oof.  This service is followed by a snack and companion art project.
