Come join the many volunteers of Temple Shalom
Volunteering at the Temple is the best way to get to know people! You will make new friends, and feel good because you’re making a difference in your community.
Among the many ways you can volunteer are to:
- Join a Temple Committee. Click here to connect to the Committee page and then click on the word Committee to see a full list
- Participate in one of the Social Action Committee’s numerous volunteer opportunities around the year – such as Mitzvah Day, Social Action activities during December, the One Family campaign against homelessness, the Mitzvah Mall, etc. Click here to go to Social Action page.
- Help out with a Religious School activity such the Purim Carnival
- Help usher or greet at a Friday night service. To volunteer, click here.
- Volunteer to transport food from Temple events (such as the Oneg Shabbat after Friday night services) to a Second Step.
- Bring cans of meatless soup and tuna to the collection boxes at each door for Family Table.
