Temple Shalom's committees serve a dual role: they are the vehicles that get things done and they are one of the key community builders - providing a way for you to get to know other Temple members with similar affinities.  Whatever you are interested in, whether it's social action, or helping provide direction for the religious school and youth programming, or music, or gardening - there's a committee or organization that wants you!  New committes form frequently, often in response to world events, such as Hurricane Katrina, or the situation in Darfur.
